Here’s a story for you!!
We went on a road trip, travelled up to Yeppoon on Friday to the Wildlife Santuary Park to pick up our new home. This 2000 Deluxe 24 luxury Rosa Bus is now in our hands and boy see has a wonderful story behind her. Not only is she bold in colour but also in spirit. Her current name is ‘Noah’s ark on the bus’ she was named then because they used her to evacuate over 150 animals and reptiles from the bush fire last year. From birds,snakes, Koalas,crocodiles,monkeys you name it, it had been caught and taken to safety to the Sanctuary Park, all this while flames were around her and her co owner. Even a local postie went to great lengths to deliver kangaroo formula to baby Joey’s at the Sanctuary, now that’s dedication.
Now we are the proud owners of this little beauty, I love her already hearing all the about the animals she rescued and kept safe. We are going to give her a make over she deserves it she has been repainted red since the fires but we are going to strip her back to bare bones, give her a new splash of colour and deck it out on the inside and turn this beauty into our home, with her story and going forward i thought re naming her was appropriate. We will treat her with respect, like the animals she carried and kept safe in the 2019 bush fires. She is a’ restless spirit’ like us with no fixed abode living the gypsy life.
